Machane Yehuda
Machane Yehuda is the outdoor market in Jerusalem for fruits and vegetables. And housewares. And clothing. And art and jewelry. And trendy cafes, bars, eateries. My favorites is Uzi the Etrog man, who makes drinks, creams, and other products all from the Etrog.
Well, he adds some other homeopathic stuff too. His remedies come from the idea that Etrog means "a thing of beauty and pleasant to look at" so he's trying to make sure that spills over to his customers as well. He's so successful that he's opened up a new branch---in Tel Aviv's parallel open market, the Carmel market!
