The rainy season has officially begun! We have such a concentration on rain and water, that we have a special name for the first rain of the season—the 'yoreh' fell last night, and this morning! So now our conversations will be peppered with all of the different names for rain and precipitation.
We've got as many as Eskimos have names for snow! Its that important! So get your umbrellas out! On second thought, don’t. The wind smashes thru them pretty fast….those of you who think Chicago is the windy city haven’t been to Jerusalem in winter!Israel is known as an innovative place—please, innovate a stronger, foldable umbrella!
